How to Maximise Your eBay Business
in 2007

It appears that 2007 will be an even more prosperous year for eBay buyers and sellers alike. With more and more members joining every day, the potential for sales and business exposure is immense. There are a number of ways you can maximise this and this article will outline how.

The most important part of any business is PLANNING. As the old saying goes, “Fail to plan, plan to fail” and this certainly rings true when it comes to eBay selling and building a profitable business with eBay.

As we enter 2007, you should ensure that you have plans in place and that you stick to them as we progress through the year. These plans could be on what products you want to invest in and how you would like to grow your business. If you want to move your eBay business in an alternative direction, make sure you make plans for this and consider all the variables that could come into place and devise techniques and methods to prevent these variables from hindering your business and you could even devise ways to maximise the potential of these variables.

So that’s the first thing you should do – PLAN. The second falls along the same lines and is just as important.

Set GOALS and OBJECTIVES for your eBay business.

Goal setting is an essential part of business life and especially on eBay. By setting goals we can ensure that our business continues to grow and develop. By monitoring progress we ensure that our business does not fall into decline or quits improving and therefore progress is always happening.

The goals you set can be absolutely anything. They could be things like:

To reach a feedback rating of 10,000

To achieve a sales revenue of $10,000 per month and to grow this number by 10% every month.

It doesn’t even have to be quantitative goals, it could also be qualitative, such as:

To have more time off from my business and set up methods of managing my business whilst being away from the computer

To team up with one other eBay seller and leverage each others resources to expand our business.

Set some goals that you would like to achieve and make some plans for the upcoming year. Continue to monitor your progress and make sure you stay within reach of achieving your goals. Never move the boundaries because this can lead you to become discouraged when you don’t reach them. Continue to plug away at your goals, implement your plans, and I promise that 2007 will be a very prosperous year for you.
