Misspelled eBay Search

How to Profit from eBay Misspellings

It’s a sad fact that there are a number of eBay sellers who are incapable, or just too plain lazy, to spell their main auction keywords correctly. I don’t think eBay sellers realise just how important spelling their auction title is. According to research, 80% of eBay buyers find what they are looking for by using a keyword search, not by searching through the categories. I hope you now realise what a huge mistake misspelling an eBay auction title can be, but do you know how you can maximise the potential of this mistake and make huge profits from it?

It’s a fairly simple system and one that many have written 30-40 page eBooks about, but I’ll summarize the details in this article.

Ok, first thing’s first.

You need to find a tool that will help you find eBay misspellings. For example, if you wanted to find misspellings for the keyword ‘adidas’, all you would have to do is type ‘adidas’ into a misspelled keyword tool and it would take you to a page on eBay with all auctions with this misspelled keyword. I don’t know how it does it, but it does and this is a very powerful tool. You can use the free misspelled tool at the top of this webpage.

Now get typing your keywords into the misspelled tool and have a look at the results.

You want to buy one of the items that is selling at a very low price because not many buyers can find it and that has other items on eBay spelled correctly selling at a much greater price.

For example, Adidas football boots that have been spelt incorrectly are selling for $30 and Adidas football boots that have been listed with the correct spelling are selling for $80. If you were to buy the boots for $30 and sell them for $80, that would be a nice little profit.

The best part is that you can buy hundreds of products everyday and re-sell them for extreme profits because eBay sellers are constantly making mistakes with their auction listings.

To further maximise the potential of this method, you should consider buying and selling higher priced products. You could buy an item for $500 and sell it for $1000 which is a lot easier than buying an item for $5 and reselling it for $10 and doing this 100 times.

This is an excellent method of using eBay as another method of online income generation and is perhaps one of the easiest.
